UK: A Ban on Petrol Powered Vehicles

The British government has banned the sale and sale of new petrol-powered vehicles across the country.

After the Brexit, another major step of the British government came to the fore. According to a foreign news agency, a statement issued by the British government says that the purchase and sale of new petrol and diesel-powered vehicles will be banned by 2023, including hybrid vehicles.

The ban verdict will be applicable for five years. The British government has also given a time frame of 2050 for the reduction of greenhouse gases. The ban has been decided in the context of environmental pollution.
